MITE Students won the First Prize at ANVESHANA 2024-25, A National Level Project Exhibition. A student team from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE) won First Prize at ANVESHANA 2025, a National-level Project Championship organized by the Agastya International Foundation in association with Synopsys, Bangalore. The event was held from February 27th to March 1st, 2025, at Shikshakara Sadana, Bangalore. The winning team also received a cash prize of ₹30,000.

MITE Team wins II Runner-up Award at VISION TechFest 2024 ‘Student Team of MITE, comprising of Computer Science & Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, of III & IV Year won the II Runner-up Award for their Innovative Idea ‘Cikitsa.ai’ at VISION TechFest 2024, hosted by Visionet. MITE has once again demonstrated its excellence by bagging two prestigious ‘Best Project of the Year’ awards at the “ State Level Poster Presentation and Project Exhibition” of 47 th Series Student Project Programme, organized by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST). The event was held at Sharnbasva University, Kalaburagi, from August 9 to 10, 2024. Out of the 24 projects of MITE received sponsorship from KSCST, nine advanced to the final round after rigorous mid-term evaluations. Team Aero Wins International Design Competition with US$7000 Cash Prize Team Aero wins the ‘Distinguished Design Bold Creativity’ at the ‘Power The Community – International Design Competition 2024’ conducted by Energy Mentors.
