Mr. Annappa Swamy D.R ,Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE), Moodbidri has 9 years of Industry and 15 years of Teaching experience. He obtained his B.Tech (Computer Engineering) and M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) from NITK Surathkal (formerly KREC Surathkal). He worked for Indian Bank and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., both central government organizations, in Information Technology department. He has industry experience in the area of data centre management, networking, Project planning, design and implementation, preparation of functional & technical specifications, technical evaluation, procurement activity, vendor management. He has attended various workshops, trainings and other corporate learning programmes. Currently pursuing PhD under VTU, Belagavi.
