-Individual Participation.
-Time Limit: 3 hrs.
-All Operations to be done in lathe provided.
2. Technical Paper Presentation
-Time Limit: 20 min (15 min presentation and 5 min Q&A).
-Maximum number of authors per paper is 2.
-Paper presentation within the realm of core Mechanical Engineering.
-Paper should be in IEEE format.
-Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
-Papers to be sent to: hodmec@mite.ac.in.

3. Auto Quiz
-2 make a team.
-Two entries per college.
-Prelims followed by Finals.
-Organizers decision will be final.
4. 3D Modeling
-an individual event.
-2 entries per college.
-time limit 2 hours.
-software provided is SOLID EDGE

CSE/ISE Events

1. Web design and development
-Each team can contain 2 members.
-Time limit is 120 minutes.
-Two teams per college is allowed.
-Permitted development tools: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, HTML, CSS.
2. Technical Paper Presentation
-Paper presentation in Computer Science related domain.
-Paper should be in IEEE format.
-12 min of presentation +3 min of Q&A.
-Papers to be sent to hodcse@mite.ac.in.
-Last date for paper submission:14th March 2017
3. Code Chef
-C programming contest.
-1 team per college consisting of maximum 2 members.
-Contestants are not supposed to bring any books/gadgets to the venue. Blank sheet of papers will be supplied.
-Consists of 2 rounds.
-STARTER: Aptitude Test Round (elimination round) – 30 questions to be solved in 60 minutes.
-MAIN: Programmer’s level programming – to provide an optimal solution for a given problem statement within 60 minutes.

ECE/TCE Events

1.Technical Quiz
-Covers all the subjects of ECE.
-Max. Number of teams per college is 2(2 make a team).
2. Robo Wars
- Each team can contain 4 members.
-4 teams per college is allowed.
-The maximum duration of each battle would be 5 minutes.
-The time duration for the finals will be 10 minutes.
-Any team that is not ready at the time specified will be disqualified from the competition and the opponent robot will be declared as the winner.
-A robot that is deemed unsafe by the judges after the match has begun will be disqualified. The match will be immediately halted and the opponent will be awarded a win.
-If both the robots fail to show any kind of motion during the battle, both the robots will be eliminated.
Specifications:
-Weight of the robot should not exceed 50 kg(excluding remote control and control wires).
-If the robot is solely powered on board batteries (wireless robots), its weight would be considered 0.8 times its actual weight.
-Participants can make use of one or more DC/ Stepper motors.
-No Hydraulics and Pneumatics can be used.
3. Technical Paper Presentation
-Topics: Image, Audio & video processing, Networking and Network Security, Signal Processing, VLSI & Embedded systems, Biomedical Power Electronics, Antenna, RF & Microwave, Satellite Communication, Mobile & Cellular Communication, Optical Communication, Robotics & Control Systems.
-Paper in IEEE format.
-Maximum Number of pages is 5(single side).
-Maximum Number of authors is 3.
-Papers to be sent to hodece@mite.ac.in.
-Last date for the paper submission:14th March 2017
4. Circuit Debugging and Analysis
- 2 make a team
- 2 teams per college
- First round: MCQ’s with the time duration of 20 min
-A maximum of 10 teams will be selected for the next round
- Second round: circuits will be given to debug.
-Identify the errors , rectify and build the circuit.

-Time Limit: 10 min (7 min presentation and 3 min discussion).
-Maximum number of authors per paper is 2.
-Paper presentation should belong to the domain of Civil Engineering.
-Paper should be in IEEE format.
-Abstract should not exceed 250 words.

2. Civil Mania
- A team shall consist of maximum of 2 persons
- 2 teams per college is allowed.
-Questions are related to Civil Engineering and general
-There will be a written test consisting of 25 MCQ are to be answered in 15 minutes to restrict the teams to 6 for the final round if number of teams are more than six.
-The decision of the quiz master is final and will not be subjected to any change
-No Electronics gadgets are allowed to be used
-Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration.

-Maximum number of authors per paper is 2.
-The topic must be original and technically relevant.
-The paper can be maximum 8 pages.
-Paper should be in IEEE format.

2. Technical Group Discussion
-Every participant should choose one topic in either favour or against.(topic will be issued by us).
-Participants will have 5 min to explain their views.
-All participants shall communicate in English
-Decision of the judges will be final.

1. Technical Paper Presentation

2.Bot Soccer
-4 make a team
-Readymade kits are NOT allowed.
-Teams will not be allowed to modify their bots during their trial.
Event Format:
-Matches will be held between two participating teams.
-Aim of the bot is to hit the ball into the goal of their respective opponent.
-Time duration of entire match is 10mins(5+5).
-In the case of a tie, as a tie breaker extra 2mins will be awarded and this will continue until we have a winner.
Bot Specifications:
-Bot dimension should not exceed 25*25*25cms(with mechanism) and weight less than 15Kgs.
-Any machine component should NOT be detached in between the event.
-Battery should not be mounted on the bot.
-Method of mobility may include Rolling or Walking.
-Bot is NOT supposed to lift or hold the ball.
-Single phase external 230v AC power will be supplied. Maximum voltage between any two points on the bot must not exceed 24v AC/DC.
-Jumping, hopping and flying are NOT allowed.
Arena Specifications:
-The arena will be rectangular, with its dimensions as 8*4 ft.
-The arena will be enclosed by wooden planks of 10 to 15cms.
-The width of goal post will be 2 ft.
