MITE has a fully computerized centrally air-conditioned library spread across Two levels, with a rich collection of books and periodicals. The Library has a collection of 5,033 Titles, 26,318 Volumes, most of the Standard National and International Journals of Engineering and Management Stream.  The reference section is a large repository of books, periodicals and journals that provides the reader with the most advanced information in the field of Science, Technology, and Management. As per AICTE and VTU norms, Library has subscribed for e-Journals and e-books through Consortium Membership.

      VTU e-Learning

      The VTU e-Learning Centre facilitates distance education and training to the students and faculty of VTU through satellite and web. Currently, VTU e-Learning Centre has migrated from a satellite-based EDUSAT program to a web-based e-Shikshana program.


      NPTEL provides E-learning through online Web and Video courses various streams. The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) was initiated by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and Roorkee) along with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2003.

      NPTEL Online Certification: The objective of enabling students to obtain certificates for courses is to make students employable in the industry or pursue a suitable higher education program.
