Accreditation’s are true 360 degree measure of quality processes at an Institution. Accreditation is an acknowledgement to the competence and credibility of an institution. It is also a reference to the fact that the institution is in par with Institutions of eminence and quality is the face of the organization.
Accreditation Status – Mandatory Disclosure
The Department of Information Sc & Engineering have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in 2023. The Department of Mechatronics Engineering have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in 2022. The Department of Aeronautical Engineering is re-accredited for the next three years in 2022. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering is accredited for three years in 2021. The Dept of Computer Science & Engineering and Dept of Mechanical Engineering were is re-accredited for three years in 2020. The Department of Civil Engineering have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in April 2019. NBA accreditation is an assurance that students at MITE receive an education which is a balance between high academic quality and professional relevance and that the needs of the corporate world are well integrated into programs, activities, and processes which promotes quality professional education.
The institute is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with A+ grade(3.44 CGPA) in 2021 for a span of 5 years. The accreditation takes into account the teaching process, research facilities, infrastructure, research aptitude, support for beyond curricular activities, organizational structure, and contribution of the institution to the society.
Yet another validation of the processes at MITE is by ISO which looks at the overall processes at the institution. It is an integral accreditation that adds credibility to the entire system defined by an Institution. Earlier the institution had an ISO 9001-2008 accreditation. The Re-accreditation by ISO is an affirmation to the fact that MITE is evolving and is also ensuring the best in the campus.
MITE is awarded the ‘Best Engineering College of the Year – Industry Engagement – 2015’ by ‘Higher Education Review’ Magazine. This award is in recognition of the continuous efforts of MITE to nurture with Industry. MITE has Industry collaborations with Major Industries like Bosch Rexroth, SIEMENS, Infosys etc. MITE has been ensuring that the students are trained on the current requirements of the Industries in consultations with Industry Majors.
MITE has been recognized as the Management College of the Year for the quality education, faculty profile and for establishing the Incubation Center which is a Center for young men and women to realize their business dreams and start-off on their own.
MITE is officially partnered with Infosys to offer various programs of Campus Connect initiative. The MoU is to enrich the technical education process and to jointly work for enhancing the quality of education imparted to students, faculty and management of selected colleges of the University related to the field of Information Technology. MITE is now recognized as ‘Advanced Partner Institute by Infosys since 2014. Also, Infosys has recognized MITE for the “Outstanding contribution in rolling out Soft Skills Program” to the students.
The Campus connect offerings are intended to make the college curriculum align with the Industry recruitment. Seminars and training sessions are arranged for the faculty to give them ar Industry perspective, enabling them to train the students accordingly.
