Dr. Divakara Shetty S
Professor and Dean (Academics)

He is currently working as Professor and Dean (Academics) at MITE, Moodbidri. He has BE in Mechanical Engineering, MTech in Engineering Management and PhD in Corrosion Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. Professor has more than 35 years of Teaching, Administrative and Research Experience. He has published more than 80 research papers in reputed National & International Journals and Conferences and has also guided several UG & PG projects and two Research Scholars for PhD.

Mr. Narendra has an Industry experience of 1 year in MindTree Consulting, where he was the lead anchor for the launch of E-Learning initiative. In his previous stint at PESIT, he was a Member of BOS for Dept of ISE. Narendra has 17 Research publications in National and International Conferences & Journals. Presently he is pursuing PhD in the area of Knowledge Management. He was recently presented with ‘Young Investigator Award’ at the ICAISC-2013, Singapore for the Research Publication presented, which was adjudged as the Best Paper. He is also a Life Member of ISTE.

Mr. Sathisha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from CIT, Ponnampet in the year 2004 and  Master’s degree from SJCE, Mysore in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems in the year 2011.  He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in V.T.U Belagavi in the field of Control Systems. His professional experience includes 14 years of teaching and 1 year of Industry. He also served as a Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at MITE from July 2014 to July 2019. He has Published 8 papers in International Journals and presented 4 papers in international conferences. His area of interest includes Control Systems, Signal Processing and Embedded Systems.
