ARPITH S BAG THE ‘BEST STUDENT OF THE ISTE CHAPTER AWARD’

COLLEGE LEVEL ANVESHANA – 2019
MITE ISTE Chapter facilitated this initiative by Agastya International Foundation, Bangalore and Synopsys India Ltd to bridge the “knowledge gap” between schools and engineering colleges to develop Innovation and Creativity through mentoring. The program looks at involving school students to provide an opportunity to work with engineering students to find solutions for the encountered social problems. The 9th Edition of State Level Anveshana, the Agastya International Foundations College Level Anveshana was hosted by ISTE Chapter in association with the Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The event also witnessed students from neighbouring Govt. Schools participating in the exhibition.






HANDS-ON ELECTRONIC PROTOTYPING AND DEBUGGING
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Vinayambika S Bhat, Head of the Dept ECE and then the resource person, Mr. Edwin Thankachan addressed the gathering about the need and necessity of the practical knowledge to the students with simple examples of Voltage divider circuit concept in a simple manner by considering the day to day life examples.
Objective of the workshop was to Bring up Individual and team work among the students, Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community, Understand the concepts and applications in the field of Communication/networking, signal processing, embedded systems and semiconductor technology.


SKILLING INDIA FOR ENVIRONMENMTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
The 15th Annual State Students Convention of Indian Society or Technical Education was organized at MITE on 6th of October, 2018. Dr. C K Subbaraya, Chairman, ISTE Karnataka State Section inaugurated the convention and stressed on the need of providing humanitarian approach in the field of technical education. Dr. G L Easwara Prasad, Principal, MITE presided over the inaugural ceremony and threw light on the roles played by institution chapters of ISTE in elevating the knowledge and skills of students through constant interactions with industry experts and researchers in his presidential address. Dr. C K Subbaraya released the convention proceedings and distributed ISTE Best Student awards.


INAUGURATION OF ‘MITE – ISTE CHAPTER’
The MITE – ISTE Chapter’ was inaugurated on May 11, 2018 and it marked the beginning of activities under the banner of ‘Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE)’, aiming at overall development of faculties and students of the institution.
