MITE Signs MoU with L&T Edutech for Skill Development Programs

Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE) has taken a significant leap forward in strengthening its industry-academia ecosystem by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with L&T EduTech, the edtech arm of the Industry giant Larsen & Toubro. This strategic collaboration marks a major milestone in MITE’s ascend towards preparing future-ready engineers equipped with cutting-edge technological expertise.

The MoU with L&T Edutech was signed at the L&T Headquarters, Chennai, on July 3rd 2026. This MoU aims to equip students with the industry skills and professional competencies needed to excel in today’s engineering landscape. To start with the partnership, L&T EduTech will deliver its Skill Development Program to the MITE students across all the branches during July 2026 itself. The intensive programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations through a structured, application-oriented learning experience.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Rajesh Chouta, Chairman, MITE; Mrs. M. F. Febin, Head – L&T EduTech; Ms. Rajalaxmi Chouta, Member, Governing Council, MITE; Mr. Narendra U. P., Director – Placements, Training and Industry Relations, MITE; and Mr. Mayank Ranjan, Sr. Manager – College Connect Business, L&T EduTech.

The Skill Development Industry Oriented Training Program will focus on strengthening the technical, analytical and professional capabilities employers seek in engineering graduates. Through immersive learning, practical exercises and industry-aligned content, students will build problem-solving, communication, aptitude and interview skills while developing the confidence to transition successfully from campus to the workplace.
