Aveen and Vignesh Nayak Ullal The Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and the MITE Teaching Learning Centre jointly organized the Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Pedagogical Approaches to Innovative Teaching.” The objective of this program was to enhance teaching methodologies and adopt strategies that better address the learning needs of today’s students. MITE Students won the First Prize at ANVESHANA 2024-25, A National Level Project Exhibition. A student team from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE) won First Prize at ANVESHANA 2025, a National-level Project Championship organized by the Agastya International Foundation in association with Synopsys, Bangalore. The event was held from February 27th to March 1st, 2025, at Shikshakara Sadana, Bangalore. The winning team also received a cash prize of ₹30,000.

MITE has once again demonstrated its excellence by bagging two prestigious ‘Best Project of the Year’ awards at the “ State Level Poster Presentation and Project Exhibition” of 47 th Series Student Project Programme, organized by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST). The event was held at Sharnbasva University, Kalaburagi, from August 9 to 10, 2024.
