MITE Scripts History with 16 University Ranks and 3 First Ranks in VTU B.E Examinations 2025
Secures Highest Number of Ranks and First Ranks in the State
Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE), Moodabidri, has once again demonstrated its academic excellence by securing a remarkable 16 University Ranks in the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) B.E Examinations 2025. Among these, the institution has proudly clinched three first ranks, accompanied by six gold medals, achieving the distinction of having the highest number of ranks and first ranks in the state under VTU this year. The 25th convocation of VTU was held on 4th July at VTU Belagavi, where these meritorious students were honored by Sri Thawar Chand Gehlot, Governor of Karnataka state and the Chancellor of the University; and Dr. Vidyashankar. S Vice Chancellor, VTU, Belagavi.
Ms. Medinee S Rao from Information Science & Engineering secured First Rank with an outstanding four Gold Medals.
Mr. S Thrupthesh Kumar from Mechatronics Engineering achieved First Rank with a Gold Medal, and
Ms. Deeksha B Devadiga from Computer Science Engineering (IoT & Cyber Security Including Blockchain Technology) secured First Rank with a Gold Medal.

Other notable rank holders include Varsha Shetty (2nd Rank -Comp Sc & Engg (IoT)), Giridhara N Nayak (3rd Rank – Mechatronics), Prajwal D (3rd Rank -Comp Sc & Engg (IoT)), Sharath M D (4th Rank -Comp Sc & Engg (IoT)), Reethu K (5th Rank -Comp Sc & Engg (IoT)), Iraj G Nayak (6th Rank – Mechatronics), Anvitha G Rao (6th Rank -Comp Sc & Engg (IoT)), Shravya Rai (7th Rank – Mechatronics), Hemanth B (7th Rank -Comp Sc & Engg (IoT)), Shreya Sudhakara Nayak (8th Rank – Information Sc & Engg), Krithi K (8th Rank -Comp Sc & Engg (IoT)), Acharya Shrihari Dayanand (10th Rank – Mechatronics), and Shamya (10th Rank -Comp Sc & Engg (IoT)), who have all secured commendable ranks in their respective branches, showcasing MITE’s consistent focus on excellence.
