AR/VR Experience Session: “Immersive Frontiers: Exploring AR/VR Innovations & Careers”
As a part of the MoU with Karanji Infotech Pvt Ltd, Mangaluru, the Department of Master of Computer Applications – MITE, organized a One-day AR/VR Experience session “Immersive Frontiers: Exploring AR/VR Innovations & Careers”. The session was conducted on the 13th of March 2025 by the Association of Computer Application Specialists (ACAS). Mr Vikram C. P, Senior Director – Operations, Karanji Infotech Pvt Ltd delivered the experience session. Karanji Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is a leading digital learning solutions company specializing in AR, VR, Metaverse, and eLearning. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Mr. Vikram was promoted to Senior Director of Operations recently, reflecting his commitment to excellence and the high regard in which he is held by his peers and the industry.
The session witnessed participation from 180+ students and faculty members. The session provided insights on AR/VR technology and its real-world applications. The resource person presented the Career Roadmap providing information on job opportunities, skills required, and how to build a career in AR/VR. The session highlighted the market trends and how industries are leveraging AR/VR for their operations. Awareness of tools, programming languages, and hardware used in AR/VR development was also provided. The session inspired the students to take up AR/VR-based student projects. The session was followed by an experience session using VR headset where the students were able to get the feel of some of the projects developed in-house by Karanji Infotech.
