The department of Computer Science & Engineering organized a workshop on “Mastering Python for Product & Process Development: Beginner to Practitioner”, on 28th and 29th April, 2025. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Karthik Kumar S, Co-founder, India Israel CyberSpark Academy & Founder, EduElevate & Pelwhiz Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Karthik Kumar S is an experienced professional in the Tech eco system, a trailblazer in the fields of Software Development, cyber security, digital transformation, Full Stack Web Development, Project Management, Marketing, and Business Development. An accomplished technologist and entrepreneur with a master degree in Computer Science, he has served in strategic roles such as Director of International Projects, Marketing Director and Senior Project Manager, collaborating with Government bodies, Research Institute, European Commission programs and fortune 500 Companies. With a proven track record of building efficient and profitable organizations, he excels at forming strategic alliances both nationally and internationally.
Around 70 students from third year and 4 faculty members participated in the workshop. The participants gained practical experience in Python development, mastering essential skills such as building GUI applications, creating games, and developing web apps. Through hands-on projects, they were equipped to build real-world applications that meet industry standards. The workshop enhanced problem-solving abilities and introduced best practices in coding and software development, empowering participants to create efficient and scalable Python solutions.
In addition to technical expertise, the program focused on interview readiness by helping participants prepare for Python-specific and technical interview questions. The program also introduced participants to research opportunities using Python in fields such as data science, machine learning, and automation. The participants can leverage Python skills for data analysis, prototype research models, and contribute to academic or industry-focused innovation.
