MoU with UIPath-Global Automation Company

MITE signed an Agreement with UiPath, the global software company that develops a platform for Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The agreement under the UiPath Academic Alliance program will help MITE ramp up educators with skills of the future and also offer courses related to Robotic Process Automation ( RPA ) to the students. MITE will receive curriculum, course content, learning materials, regular educator training, and software tools. Siemens Center of Excellence

Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering signed an MoU with SIEMENS PLM Software in 2015 under which it has received an in-kind software grant towards the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Digital Design, Validation and Digital Manufacturing. The value of the Software granted to the institute is around USD 79 Million. MITE is the only Institute in the State of Karnataka to receive such a grant. The ‘Team Octon’ consisting of students from Mechatronics Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering department participated in the All India Design and Development of Eco friendly car Competition – Eco-Kart 2018. About Eco-Kart Championship: Eco kart Championship is a national event for student persuing engineering degree/diploma. Nodal centre evaluation of KSCST 42nd Series Student Project Program held at MITE

Students and Faculties from seventeen engineering colleges from Mangalore region participated in the event and displayed their projects for the evaluation and exhibition on May 20, 2019. A total of 109 projects from various engineering departments were demonstrated in the event which was evaluated by professors from NITK Surathkal officials from KSCST Indian Institute of Science Campus Bengaluru. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Hemanth Kumar executive secretary KSCST Bengaluru. In his inaugural address, he mentioned the importance converting an idea into final product which can be used for the benefit of the humankind. He also congratulated MITE for being second Institute in the state to get highest number of projects approved for sponsorship.
