MITE signed an Agreement with UiPath, the global software company that develops a platform for Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering signed an MoU with SIEMENS PLM Software in 2015 under which it has received an in-kind software grant towards the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Digital Design, Validation and Digital Manufacturing. Students and Faculties from seventeen engineering colleges from Mangalore region participated in the event and displayed their projects for the evaluation and exhibition on May 20, 2019. A total of 109 projects from various engineering departments were demonstrated in the event which was evaluated by professors from NITK Surathkal officials from KSCST Indian Institute of Science Campus Bengaluru. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Hemanth Kumar executive secretary KSCST Bengaluru.
