MoU with National Highways Authority of India

July 09th, 2020 Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE) Moodabidri has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) on 09th  July 2020. With this agreement, NHAI will provide the list of potential National Highway stretches to the Civil Engineering Department at MITE which would facilitate the implementation of the project by providing relevant data through field office/consultant/concessionaire/contractor in the project and would also have an officer as a point of contact. MITE Students win All India 3rd Best Project Award at Unisys Cloud 20/20

The project “Triplet Lifi” by Students of MITE won All India Third Prize in the Annual 8th Edition of UNISYS All India Project Competition Cloud 20/20 held in Bangalore. The team had Students of Electronics and communication Engineering– Mr. Steben, Mr. Prison Jacob  and Mr. Ramalingam H M, Assistant Professor, Dept of ECE guided the students in the Project.The Team was awarded a cash Prize of INR 1 Lakh. MITE Secures 6th & 9th Prize in Anveshana- A state level project competition

The 9th series of the Anveshana -2020 witnessed a team from Civil Engineering and another from Mechanical Engineering Department of MITE win the 6th and 9th prize respectively at the state level. The Championship organized by the Agastya International Foundation in association with Synopsys was held from 25th to 27th February 2020 held at Bangalore. The event which had over 900 innovative project submissions from across the state had 49 teams from 36 Engineering colleges for the finale at Bangalore.Three teams from MITE were selected for the finale from the department of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The project “CO-DI-RA Messenger” by Students of MITE won All India Second Prize in the Annual 9th Edition of UNISYS All India Project Competition Cloud 20/20 held in Bangalore. The 41st series of the Student Project Program of Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) witnessed a team from the Department of Mechanical engineering win the coveted “State Best Project of the year -2018” from Karnataka State Council for Science & Technology. 11 innovative projects from MITE had bagged sponsorship through KSCST in 2018. MoU with Toyota Industries Engine India Ltd

April 2nd, 2021 Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE) Moodabidri today announced the signing off an agreement with Toyota Industries Engine India Private Limited (TIEI), a pioneer in the business of manufacturing automobile engines and auto transmission parts. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been arrived at skill development in the area of Engine manufacturing and finding value-creating opportunities for Students, teaching faculty and industry personnel. MITE secures First Prize in VTU TEQIP State Level Project Competition – Avishkar 2020.

Students of Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering, Moodabidri (MITE) secured the First Prize in the State Level Project Competition AVISHKAR 2020, conducted by the TEQIP Cell of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The Project ‘Medical Emergency Drone’, showcased by Students of MITE won the prestigious award out of a total of 350 Teams that participated in the competition.
